Ordering Placing an Order To place an order, please contact me at amphibianaquatics@yahoo.com. Please be sure to include your zipcode so that I can get you a shipping quote. Please note that animals are not reserved until after they've been paid for, a down payment had been recieved, or if I otherwise feel there is significant reason to believe you're serious about purchasing the animals. Shipping Shipping is usually done through USPS overnight service. This typically runs around $20-30. There is also an $8 box fee, which covers expenses not related to raising the animals (packaging, box and insulation, cool packs, etc.). All animals sent via USPS overnight come with a live arrival guarantee¹. In some areas, USPS overnight shipping is not available. In this case, we ship FedEx overnight, which is generally much more expensive $40-50. The $8 box fee still applies to these orders, and animals shipped FedEx overnight have a live arrival guarantee¹. Alternately, you may request animals to be sent via USPS two day. This generally runs around the same as USPS overnight. Live arrival guarantee is void on all two day shipments. In some instances, such as high or low temperatures or for general convenience, you may request to have animals held at the post office. This is generally a good choice in hotter climates, or if you won't be home for delivery. Shipments go out Monday and Wednesday. In some instances I may make an exception and ship Tuesday or Thursday, but I do not ship later than Thursday due to risk of being delayed over the weekend. ¹Guarantees As stated above, all overnight shipments come with a live arrival guarantee. However, guarantees are subject to the following conditions: -Delivery must be accepted on the first try. If no one is home to receive the animals, guarantee is void. Miscellaneous Please note that releasing captive animals into the wild is illegal and a cause of extreme ecological problems. Even if a species is native to your area, releasing a captive animal may introduce new diseases or genetics into the population and can cause serious problem. Exotic species released into the wild can cause severe devastation (see cane toads, Burmese pythons, Xenopus laevis). By ordering from Amphibian Aquatics, you are agreeing not to release any animals purchased back into the wild. Customer Service Finally, please don't hesistate to contact me for any reason.
